Mia Lee broke her own Guam national record in the 50m freestyle Wednesday in the 17th Pacific Games prelims in the Solomon Islands.

Lee’s time of 27.44 sec was .10 faster than the previous mark she set in July at the World Championships in Japan.

In the finals, she finished in 6th place in 27.47.

50m Butterfly

Lee just missed the podium in the 50m butterfly, coming in 4th place at 29.74. She owns the national record in that event as well, barely missing the mark of 29.72 that she set in 2022.

In the 100m finals, she came in 7th.
