GSPN PROGS: FOKAI CLAIMS #1 SPOT

18 weeks of progs in the books!

By GSPN

We have reached the finale of our GSPN Prognostication series after 18 weeks of play! The NFL’s biggest season to date meant quite a big season for our NFL Prognosticators and Fokai, under the guidance of Carlo Dela Cruz, locked up the #1 spot!

Week 18 Picks

Season Recap

It was a season of redemption for many progs, like Ajisen and J Onedera claiming the #1 spot for four weeks after starting the season at the bottom of the standings. Mighty Purple, Fokai and Cowboy Ninja were all battling for the top spot, but a spill in back-to-back weeks turned Danny Payumo and Cowboy Ninja from a contender into a last place finish.

No Ka Oi spent a wealth of the season in the bottom half of the league, but came in strong towards the finish by taking a solid 4th place.

The middle of the pact teams stayed relatively the same all season as Pacific Tyre, Baker and Paradise Pulls unable to make any big leaps.

The Run Guam team were victims of whacky upsets as they fell from the top five pickers to the bottom in an instant. Island Tinting came out to a blazing start after one week, but they too were on the wrong side of upsets which made difficult to move in the standings.

Ashley Samaniego and the UCLA Bruins are heading to the NCAA Women’s Sweet 16.
The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
