GSPN NFL PROGS: WEEK 3

We have a new leader after three weeks with Fokai and Carlo Dela Cruz grabbing the edge in the standings! Week 3 picks were fruitful for many of our other progs who are starting to get a good handle on this season.

Here’s how Week 3 picks faired:

Fokai went 13-3 in Week 3, the best of the week, to capture 1st place! Choosing to pick the Rams over Buccs and Packers over 49ers would have been considered going against the grain, but that’s the type of gusto we love to see when making picks! The reward, at least for this week, is sole possession of 1st place!

Mighty Purple came out strong out the gates and is staying consistent being only three games behind. Cowboy Ninja is staying in the mix behind the leagues top teams after holding a Top 3 spot every week! Run Guam came into the week trying an ‘anti-jinx’ strategy picking against their favorite teams, but we’re not ruling out their use of sorcery or witchcraft as they have climbed into 4th place.

Pacific Tyre went a solid 10-6 in Week 3, but a big 12-4 week from Baker International puts him just another good week away from possibly cracking the Top 3 after starting the season at the bottom of the standings!

Paradise Pulls were the only progs to pick the Chargers over the Chiefs (thank you!) but most of their other wins were shared amongst the league as everyone shared wins on the Raiders, Cowboys, Panthers, Ravens, Browns, Cardinals and Broncos. No one picked the Jaguars or Jets to win this week which might be considered ‘gimme’ selections from week-to-week.

Island Tinting and Ajisan are knotted for the 8th place spot, but are realistically within a correct pick or two from being amongst the Top 5! (we’re staying optimistic here). No Ka Oi had the toughest week at 9-7 and fall to the bottom of the standings. We’ve still got 14 more weeks of picks!

Ashley Samaniego and the UCLA Bruins made it to the NCAA Women’s Final Four, before losing to eventual champions UConn.
The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
