FRIARS NET PANTHERS WHILE ALSO HAVING IN-HOUSE BATTLE

Published on

The IIAAG Boys Beach Volleyball season has entered it’s second week of play with an in-house battle between FD1 and FD3 while the Guam High Panthers took on FD2 at the GFA Sand Courts Wednesday evening. The day also saw two forfeits with odd weather taking shape as it rained while the heat from the sun could still be felt.

FD1’s top duo of Thomas Moylan and Ethan Alvarez were met with some resistance from FD3’s Xavier Calvo and Antonio Rapadas. After Moylan and Alvarez took the first set 21-11, the younger boys from FD3 would battle to take the second set 21-17 to force the ‘if’ set. The seasoned libero Moylan and strong hitter Alvarez would take over in the 3rd set winning 15-3.
