Who’s winning Super Bowl LIII?
Guam’s football fans chime in on who they’re picking to win the big game, Monday 9 am Chamorro Standard Time, between the New England Patriots vs. the Los Angeles Rams.
Many fans declined to comment given their distain for both teams and even those who selected weren’t too fond of their picks. Given that Guam is full of 49ers and Steelers fans, seeing their division rivals in the Rams (for 49ers fan) and seeing Brady and the Pats’ (for Steelers fan) in the final game of the year doesn’t leave too much to be excited about.
Check out who’s picking who in the gallery below! (click photo to enlarge quote)
Patriots

"Having once been a young coach like Sean McVey going up against established coaches like Bill Belichick, I am 100% confident the Patriots will win," - Desmond Mandell: Guam National TFA Head Coach

"Don't care of either team! But if I absolutely had to bet, I'd bet on Brady and the Pats. In a perfect world both teams lose!" - Roque Martinez: Rizin MMA
Rams

"I'm going Rams cause my son Masato has been a Rams fan since they moved from St. Louise. We watched all their documentary 'All or Nothing' and he's been hooked. He's a fan of Todd Gurley." - Mike Rabago: Guam Volleyball

Eddie Pelkey -
KC 34, TB 24:
You can't prepare for Mahomes. TB can get to him with their front 4, but Mahommes has consistently shown he's elusive in the pocket. throw in a 3-time super bowl winning Defensive Coordinator in Spags (who has beaten Brady twice in the Super bowl already) and KC has a complete team. TB has been inconsistent all season. and although its hard to bet against Brady, there's not enough familiarity to overcome the familiarity and stability of KCs offense and defense.

Ashley Samaniego and the UCLA Bruins made it to the NCAA Women’s Final Four, before losing to eventual champions UConn.
The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
