The first football related activity on the agenda for Cleveland Browns, and Guam’s own, Zach Banner and All-Rookie first team defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi during their time on Guam was to meet with Guam’s coaches via a completely free coaches clinic at Guam High.
The clinic started Wednesday and ends this Friday with both Banner and Ogunjobi getting a chance to breakdown what goes on their side of the ball.
Wednesday, Banner broke down stance, movement and even hip placement and what being an offensive lineman in the NFL is all about. Banner also urged that Guam’s coaches train the youth much like they would their high school players to break early bad habits.
Ogunjobi took the floor Thursday evening breaking down defense, technique and flexibility. The Defensive All-Rookie 1st Team went in-depth with detailed slides on what goes down in the battle of the trenches. He even demonstrated the little moves and things that current football players should be practicing that will elevate their game.
Friday will wrap-up their coaches clinic as they go into breaking down film. A full-length feature of the clinic will be posted on GSPN in the coming weeks!
The players will hit the field with the youth, high schoolers and then adults next week for another completely free training session! Go time is 6 pm ending at 8 pm.
