THE LEGEND JOE TAITANO: 2017 ALL-ISLAND TRACK & FIELD

GSPN got an all access look at the Legendary Joe Taitano at the 2017 All-Island Track & Field Meet as he helped guide the Guam High Panthers a first and second place finish, adding titles to his already illustrious coaching career.

The Legend Joe Taitano was on a quest to add another Track & Field Title to his already impressive coaching career which started in 1982.

To end the 2017 season, Taitano led the Guam High Panthers to a first place finish in the boys and a second place finish for the girls.

Taitano’s championships now stand at an estimated 35 (too many to count).

Ashley Samaniego and the UCLA Bruins made it to the NCAA Women’s Final Four, before losing to eventual champions UConn.
The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
