FRIARS RETIRE SIX BASKETBALL JERESEYS

Six jerseys numbers will be worn in FD Basketball history ever again.

This past Sunday, the FD Friar Alumni Association hosted its first ever retirement ceremony at the Phoenix Center for the likes of six legendary ballers who suited up in maroon and gold.

Retired Jerseys

• Ricardo Eusebio #33 (1972)
• Eduardo ‘Champ’ Calvo #10 (1974)
• Stephen Baza #30 (1985)
• Chris Fernandez #21 (1996)
• Vince Estealla #12 (2002)
• Willie Stinnett #23 (2004)

Each inductee selected a person to give them a welcoming speech before unveiling their retired banners. This was the first time in school history that jerseys were selected for retirement.
