Former Guam resident and current head coach of the Portland Trailblazers of the NBA Terry Stotts joined GSPN via telephone Sunday morning to relive his moments on Guam in the 1970’s with special guest, brother Mark Stotts.
Terry even managed to guess who two of the top members of Guam’s Mt. Rushmore of basketball were in Tony Susuico and Joe Taitano while also recalling former friends in middle school.
Frank Stotts, father of Terry and Mark, played a huge factor in Terry’s career choices, moulding Terry into the coach he is today. Frank was also a pioneer for Guam Basketball during his time on island by putting Guam against off-island competition.
Terry then answered questions from some of Guam’s very own Portland Trail Blazer faithful to end the podcast. Catch the entire podcast in the link above!
