A SHARED PASSION

At the same time, Triple J Ford, exclusive vehicle partner with official naming rights to the Youth Football League, donated a Ford Ranger pick up truck to support the organization’s logistical needs for the 2015 Season.

“We have been proud sponsors of GNYFF for many years,” said Jeff Jones, President of Triple J Enterprises, Inc. “we share a common belief – that is each of us can make a difference where we live and how we live. GNYFF and its members have a strong desire and special attention and respect for youth football and to do its best to help build up our kids, parents, coaches and the community at large. This donation is to help ease their logistical burdens so they can focus, more importantly, on the well being of the organization as a whole.”

Ivan Shiroma, President of GNYFF added, “It is critical for us to have the support of the community and sponsors like Triple J Ford help us to continue to provide a safe and positive environment for youth to learn essential life skills like dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship, and to become better individuals both on and off the field. We have over 1,000 players and 200 plus cheerleaders in our now 36-team league so it is crucial to have the support of the community at large.”

THE VISION OF GNYFF

Shiroma shared how the vision of the federation has always been to develop a sustainable youth football program that will encourage progressive development of the youth on Guam, taking them to the next level, with emphasis on learning, playing and enjoying the sport while instilling high moral standards by stressing the importance of academic achievement, respect for authority and community involvement.

SUPPORT OF GNYFF

Shiroma encourages the community to get involved because it greatly affects the ability for any youth league program to run successfully, whether it is through sponsorship or volunteer support.

For more information on GNYFF or sponsorship opportunities, visit their website at www.gnyff.net,where you will have access to weekly video highlights, schedules, standings, and much more or call Ivan Shiroma at 888-4301.

Ashley Samaniego and the UCLA Bruins made it to the NCAA Women’s Final Four, before losing to eventual champions UConn.
The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
