GUAM PLACES SIX ON NORTH PACIFIC JR TENNIS

Guam placed six tennis players on the North Pacific junior tennis team at the conclusion of the North Pacific Regional Championship held last month at the Hyatt Regency Guam tennis courts.

PRESS RELEASE – Guam placed six tennis players on the North Pacific junior tennis team at the conclusion of the North Pacific Regional Championship held last month at the Hyatt Regency Guam tennis courts, Rick Ninete Tennis Center, and the Tamuning tennis courts. A total of 19 tennis players in three age divisions from Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Palau comprise the North Pacific team, set to compete in the 25th Pacific Oceania Junior Championship from August 18-27 at the Regional Training Centre in Fiji.

Other players to make the team are Robbie Schorr, Ken Song, Maika Miyawaki, Conatsu Kaga, Asia Raulerson, Luther Lizama, Tania Tan, Julia Ishikawa, Ami Tsukagoshi, and Colin Ramsey all from NMI, Ayana Rengil from Palau, and Jenna Panuelo from FSM. Sunshine Palik from the FSM received an OTF Wild Card for the tournament in Fiji. North Pacific team coaches are Jeff Race from NMI and Taufao from Guam.
