ANTONIO, TAITANO STEP DOWN FROM GTFA

It’s official: Jay Antonio and Joe Taitano step down from top GTFA positions.

UOG-GSPN-Banner-300x300-2014Amid recent controversy over the eligibility of athletes that prompted the Guam National Olympic Committee to ban the Guam Track & Field Association from the Committee, the top two officials from GTFA – President Jay Antonio and Vice President Joe Taitano – have decided to step down from their positions on this Christmas Eve. Secretary General Marissa Peroy will take over as interim President.

Here is the official letter: GTFA-GNOC_signed

It was on Dec. when the GTFA protested in front of the GNOC Maite office trying to get official notice for their ban that was long over a year.
