2014 PHOENIX WRESTLING CLUB SUMMER SERIES

The Phoenix Wrestling Club will be hosting a summer wrestling camp series in June & July featuring top level instructors for coed middle and high school students!

PRESS RELEASE – The Phoenix Wrestling Club is a local non‐profit organization that was established to encourage and support our young athletes extend their sports learning and physical training beyond the seasonal prep leagues. Our goal is to provide Guam’s secondary level athletes with the instructional and training resources necessary to prepare for higher levels of competition.

This summer, the Phoenix Wrestling Club is delighted to present two separate, intensive wrestling training camps. The Next Level Championship Technique Camp with Coaches Lennie Zalesky and Arsen Aleksayan from June 10‐14 and The Goldbuckle Intensive Technique & Training Camp with Coach Mike “Mac” McArthur from June 29‐July 6. Both camps will feature highly accomplished and nationally recognized coaches from the United States and will have between 35~50 participants, male & female, middle and high school aged. These campers will be exposed to a level of instruction and techniques, proven successful by numerous high school, college and even World Champion athletes in the United States.

The 2014 Phoenix Wrestling Club Intensive Summer Wrestling Series will rival similar camps held at top level NCAA DI colleges throughout the United States. Hosting the camps on Guam will allow many of our local athletes an opportunity to experience this level of instruction, which they otherwise could not afford.

If you should have any questions or wish to discuss this program or any other matters, please feel free to contact me directly at the number reflected below or via email at [email protected]. We thank you in advance for your hopefully favorable consideration.

Respectfully,

Terry M. Debold
Camp Administrator Phoenix Wrestling Club

Ashley Samaniego and the UCLA Bruins made it to the NCAA Women’s Final Four, before losing to eventual champions UConn.
The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
