TUCK DROPS UFC DECISION

Jon-Norman

Jon Tuck drops his first ever MMA fight, losing to Ireland’s Norman Parke by unanimous decision in UFC Fight Night 30 in Manchester, England.

Parke’s standup game was the difference as a number of counters and lefts in the second round proved to be the difference as it tired down Guam’s premier fighter.

It was a total standup fight for the exception of one takedown by Parke to end the first round.

Parke peppered away throughout and was the more aggressor, but could not drop Tuck.

According to Tuck’s Facebook page, he broke his right foot in the first round and endured the next two rounds.

The official judges scores were 29-28, 29-28, 30-27.

Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
