Ranger’s starter Kagan Rabago would go all 7 innings to pick up the win while striking out six batters.  The highlight of the game came in the 5th inning with the Reds threatening to rally with bases loaded and no outs.  A sharp ground ball to 3rd baseman Derek De la Cruz who would fire to catcher Conan De la Cruz to get the force at the plate then to first baseman Johnny Tenorio to get the force at first base and back to the plate where De la Cruz would put a quick tag on the runner coming home to complete the 5-2-3-2 triple play.

The Reds tried to rally late in the bottom of the 7th down 7-1 Dan Salas would lead off with a hit by pitch and Robit Cabe would single before Kiko Aguigui would complete a 4 for 4 game with a  rbi single.  Roy Gamboa would follow with a walk and Johnny Quenga would single in another run cutting the score to 7-3 as the Reds threatened to come back.  But Rabago would get the final out on a grounder to short to hold onto his 2nd win of the season.

Terrance Pablo picks up SZPOG going 2 for 3 at the plate as the Rangers improve to 9-0 and a virtual tie for the #1 seed.  The Reds fall to 3-5 on the season and currently have the #7 seed for the playoffs.  Top 8 teams advance to the playoffs following the regular season.

The win keeps them on top the Jim Beam Amateur Baseball League standings.
