[sixcol_five_last]

PRESS RELEASE – Representing the world’s leading brewer, Anheuser-Busch InBev, local wholesaler Ambros, Inc. is a proud sponsor of the Budweiser Fall Amateur Baseball League.

Participating teams for the Budweiser Fall Amateur Baseball League will be segregated into two divisions – IFIT and PROA – to compete in one round robin of 7 games and a double elimination playoff. The last two standing teams will play a best of 3 in the “King of the Diamond Championship Series”. Games are played at Leo Palace Resort on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday at 12pm, 3pm and 6pm.

For more information on the schedule, scores and stacks, visit the league’s webpage at http://www.guamstrikezone.com/ or follow the games live on Facebook/Amateur Baseball Guam.

“With the Bud Fall Amateur League, Ambros Inc. is proud to provide a venue for our island’s gifted players to showcase their talent in and love for baseball. We are honored to be a part of this event and look forward to more partnership and sponsorship opportunities like this in the future”, said Tom Shimizu, General Manager of Ambros Inc.

“With the support of Ambros Inc. and Budweiser, Guam Amateur Baseball is able to raise the bar and provide a high quality league for Guam’s amateur players aged 13 to 60. It gives the young kids an opportunity to play with more experienced players and the older players an opportunity to stay competitive and keep playing Guam’s favorite pastime”, adds Justin Bennett, GAB League Coordinator.

To many, the Budweiser brand has long been synonymous to sports. As they remain committed to the legacy of sports and entertainment, Bud Light continues to impress the people of Guam with products and services that boast of high quality, integrity and responsibility – values that have secured their title as the King of Beers.

Ashley Samaniego and the UCLA Bruins made it to the NCAA Women’s Final Four, before losing to eventual champions UConn.
The 2007 Simon Sanchez graduate is in his first year with the Bruins women’s basketball team as the Director of Athletic Performance. This after years at California State University, Northridge in the same capacity.
Coach Ash must be bringing some goodness to the Bruins as UCLA is currently ranked #1 in the country and earned its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
