There was no slowing down Red Horse as they captured their fourth straight San Miguel Basketball League championship Sunday at the Yigo Gym.
It was an easy title game against GSM/DLX led by J.P. Cruz’s game-high 34 points, Red Horse cruised to a 108-63 championship win. Big man John Chaco led the GSM/DLX efforts with 19 points.
In the masters division, the Ben N Yan Panthers strolled to a 59-39 win over Guam Home Center in the championship game.
Danny Cepeda, as he has done all season, led the Panthers with 15 points while Joel Aranas had nine points for Guam Home Center.
Earlier in the afternoon, the semifinals took place where Red Horse advanced over 76/Circle K 73-56 behind 21 points from Joe Blas. Edgar Baza had 20 points for GSM/DLX in their 80-59 semifinal win over Calvo’s Insurance.
